Join us Monday, December 19th for a SNAP-to-It Christmas at McDonald's on Center Street from 1-3 p.m.

These are letters to Santa from the Kids who have been affected by domestic violence and are being sheltered or otherwise served by the Safety Net for Abused Persons. Please consider these wishes as you do your Christmas shopping this year. Further info is offered below.

Dear Santa,

My name is Janee and I am 4 years old.  I have been good this year. Could you please bring me a Barbie doll, dress-up clothes and play make-up?  If you can only bring me on thing a candy tree would be my favorite. Thank you Santa, Janee

My name is Labron and I am 3 years old.  I love Spiderman, Scooby-Doo, Sponge Bob, Bob the Builder and Cars – the movie.  I like to play with puzzles and balls. I try to be good, but mama says that I am too active. Love you Santa, Labron

 Dear Santa, I am Quentin and I am 1 year old.  I like Cars- the movie so anything that is about Cars I will like.  I like soft footballs and play phones and push cars that I can ride on or push.   I have been good so far this year. Have a good flight Santa Love, Quentin 

Dear Santa,

My name is Hawiia and I am 6 years old.  I have been good this year, that’s why I got all those presents form you last year.  I want a scooter to ride on.  I love to sing and dress up so could you please bring me a guitar and some dress-up clothes and make-up.  Please bring me some shoes (size 2 ½).  My favorite color is purple. I will lease you some cookies and milk this Christmas. Love, Hawiia

Dear Santa Clause,

My name is Trina and I am 3 years old.  I hope things are busy at the the North Pole.  I have been good and busy this year.  Would you please bring me a new bike (with training wheels) and a baby doll with a change of clothes?  I want a sing-along CD player because I like to sing and talk to hear myself.  If you can only bring me one thing the baby doll would be my favorite. Dear Santa,

I know I want a lot for Christmas but I know I can’t have every thing.  But here is my list; a bike, a mouse for my computer, Rango the movie, some computer games, a teddy bear, some clothes and lots of chocolate candy.  And for my mom to get well so she may smile like everything is OK, but I know that it’s not.  She been worrying too much.  She wants a job.  She can’t find nothing close to home. My name is Conner and I am 14.  You know what I need and that I really want to be in a home with my mom for Christmas.  I really need some socks (crew-cut – size 9-13 mens).  I like to hunt so please bring me in a camouflage hat and maybe some clothes (size 34/30, Lg shirt). Dear Santa, My sister and I have been very good.  We listen to our mommy, we don’t fight, we share and we love to help other people.  Precious and I really like princesses and for Christmas we want to be princesses.  So if you and the elves could make us princesses we would be happy.
